This is my preferred suit but it was on back order so I got the moderate cut instead

Wanted this one but it was on back order, I've really enjoyed this style in the past

runs a little large. may need to return. will try it on again and then see. Thanks.

excellent quality, fully lined, color does not fade

Basically, it's a good suit. The elastic in the bottom edge area is not tight enough, so I have to keep pulling it down.

It is nice to get a double lined suit.

Dolfin conservative lap suit

Wonderful fit and styling. Never owned a suit that looked this good before. Also is comfortable, stays put in the rear, and straps don't fall down. Best suit ever!!!!

Ocean Conservative Solid Lap Suit Print Female

Kathryn, Illinois

I selected this suit because I wanted a modest cut back with a pretty pattern, instead of the boring solid suit I wore for the previous 20 months. I have to give this suit a very low rating because when lap swimming the armholes are cut so tight, the elastic cuts into and actually breaks the skin, and the butterfly shaped back opening combined with the thick straps makes it almost impossible to get into the suit. The angle cut at the thighs needs to be more flattering by cutting a little more at an angle to dissect the width at the top of the leg. I knew from past experience to order a suit one size larger than you normally wear to compensate for the lack of Lycra (& lack of stretch). But the only way to have a suit last more than 3 or 4 months is to get one that is totally free of Lycra and is 100% polyester & fully lined, front and back. The lining in the back is the most important factor to longevity of your suit. I was replacing a boring solid print, 100% fully lined polyester Kieffer training suit that lasted 20 months before the stitching started to disintegrate. However I am a bit short waisted, so this new suit is a little too long in length, resulting in horizontal wrinkles. I ended up having to alter the armholes by adding longer elastic and turning the hem under another 1/2". The left leg opening had to be tightened as the elastic was larger than on the right. The shipping took much longer than estimated, which was disappointing because I was mending my old suit almost daily.
