About DMCSwim Fins

Important Note: These fins used to be known as the Tech 2 Swim Fins. The manufacturer has changed their name and therefore the name of these fins. Other than the colors and the logos, these fins have not changed. At this time we still have some stock of the old Tech 2 branded version of these fins, so you may receive either type. If you have any further questions about these fins please contact us!

These Tech 2 swim fins are the direct result of research and innovation with one goal: to improve your strength and technique in the water. While some fins are comprised of rubber, swimmers find that it causes blisters and makes swimming uncomfortable. That’s why these fins are made of silicone. Plus, silicone is actually denser than water, which is essential for keeping your feet below the surface of the water! The patented V-rail design also streams water along its edge, pushing you further through the water as you kick. The heel strap ensures that the fins stay on as you propel yourself through the lane.

According to the manufacturer, the sizes are sized for men, so they recommend that women buy a size down from what they normally would. The manufacturer also suggests that since the fins run wide, if you have narrow feet you may also want to choose a smaller size. We recommend that you try them on before entering the water so you know if you’ve purchased the right size (items worn in the water cannot be returned according to our store policies)

I intended to buy these fins for surf rescues and PWC (Personal Water Craft) aka jetski. I tried them in the pool during a swim workout and fell in love with them. I am going to buy second pair for a rescue equipment. Good buy Zoomers. Viva Tech 2 Swim Fins!!

I ordered these sight-unseen because I was recovering from a sprained ankle and needed to get in the water on a snorkeling trip with something that would put less stress on my ankle. The Swim 2000 phone agent was very helpful in describing the pros and cons of different training fins. The Hydro Tech 2 Finz saved the day for me. They were easy on the ankles yet gave me enough thrust to keep up with my family. Was very happy with this purchase.

I purchased a pair of Tech 2 fins when the fins I had been using caused blisters. The material used in the Tech 2 fins is soft and comfortable and cause no problems with discomfort. They worked so well that I purchased a pair for my wife who was also fighting blisters with her other fins. We are both very satisfied with the comfort and performance of the Tech 2 Swim Fins.

I needed new fins, as the hard rubber ones I purchased were too slim and caused foot cramps when I wore them. I found the Tech 2s after visiting several review websites, and decided to try them out. I am thrilled with the fit, comfort, speed. They are a little large on me, but I can easily remedy that with either some swim socks. Even a bit large they are miles beyond my old fins.
