I purchased the suit for lap swim. I tried it on at home and seemed to fit well. When I went to swim laps, my bust was not at all supported. I couldn't exchange for a smaller size so I am not sure if a smaller size would have made a difference. I wear a sports bra with the suit now or an old suit underneath this suit. Not sure if the stretch in the fabric to make room for the belly doesn't allow enough support for the bust or if it is a size issue. Not willing to buy 2 suits in different sizes just to answer that question in case it is an issue with the fabric. No way to tell unless you swim with it on.
