I haven't tried the shoes in water yet, but they seem a good fit in my home. Also, I have not previously owned water shoes, so I am not sure what to expect. It would have been nice to have a zipper option.

I wish I could have tried them out before buying

I think the quality on the shoe is pretty good. I usually wear a 10.5-11, so I ordered the 11. I'm thinking the 10 would have worked, but I worried about them being too tight. They seem to have stretched after 15 hours of use and during some exercises they almost come off. I think the 10's would have stretched enough after several hours in the pool so that I wouldn't have to worry about them being too tight. Some sort of lacing option would be nice, but they still do the job I purchased them for.
