Aptly named for it’s superior drag coefficient, the Velocity speedsuit from XTerra is the fastest speedsuit on the market. It’s designed from head-to-toe to reduce drag in every aspect. While some other wetsuits also use Yamamoto Nano-SCS skin rubber, XTERRA is currently the only wetsuit manufacturer to engineer their suits with 100% Yamamoto rubber throughout the entire body and limbs of the suit. This creates the lowest friction coefficient (just 0.02) so that your race time is reduced! This wetsuit is also lined with the Yamamoto fabric to allow the suit to adjust and stretch to your body in the water and even further minimize drag. While the suit is for swimming only, it’s meant to be worn over your triathlon race apparel. Even the minimal seams are designed to reduce drag! The sleeveless cut will allow a greater range of motion for your arms and shoulders, but be careful of chillier waters- double up on caps and throw on a parka after your swim to lock in the heat your body is quickly losing!
