This my fourth pair of Kaiman. My first were a tinted black framed pair and I immediately loved them because 1. they did not hurt 2. they did not leak. I purchased a second clear pair for indoor swimming that started leaking in a couple months. Also my eyelashes brush the lenses of the clear goggles. However, since they are so comfortable I went ahead and purchased a third pair of clear/clear. These leaked upon receipt. Bummer! So I thought that maybe the plastic color has something to do with sealing ability for flexibility (I have a difficult nose to fit). My black framed/clear lenses are as good as my first! There may indeed be something to the plastic color.
