BCH HEATWAVE

The BCH Heatwave Swim Team, based in Henderson, offers comprehensive training sessions tailored for all ages and skill levels. With the primary objective to nurture individual swimmers to reach their maximum potential, we offer multiple practice groups at various locations including Heritage Park Aquatic Center, Henderson Multigenerational Center, and Boulder City Pool.

Key Points:

1. Membership & Fees: Membership is open to any competitive swimmer, subject to skills evaluation. Monthly dues cater to coaching and pool rental expenses. A non-negotiable annual administrative fee is charged alongside regular monthly fees.
2. USA Registration: An obligatory annual registration fee is required for all swimmers to be affiliated with USA Swimming, Inc.
3. Team Apparel & Equipment: Swimmers must adhere to our navy blue and silver theme, especially for sanctioned meets, as we are under contract with Speedo. Necessary equipment and apparel can be procured from Swim2000.
4. Fundraising & Volunteering: We emphasize the importance of fundraising to support team expenses. Our main fundraising events include Sillystring Sales and swim meets hosted by BCH. We also heavily rely on our community of parents and guardians to volunteer in various capacities during meets and other events.
5. Swim Meets & Tasks: Swimmers are encouraged to participate in team swim meets, with meet fees payable before the event. There is an array of tasks necessary for smooth operation during swim meets, and we use an online system for task signups.
