Good update

First, the fin floats, important for use in the surf (even if you use tethers).

The shape is the same as the previous model, except for the addition of small curcular features on the bottom for better rock traction. The new model seems a bit softer than its predecessor.

The new model retains the excellent heel strap design of its predecessor.

I spotted a photo of a competitor in a serious bodysurfing event in Tahiti, with Repellors. So yes, they qualify for surf use. My check-out swim with the new Repellor was paired with a fairly rare alternative, POD PF2. The latter is a bit stiffer and felt faster; I should have tried another brand in a "soft flex",
